Midlothian Council seeks to establish a framework for the supply, delivery, installation and disposal of domestic furniture and furnishings, including white goods to various types of domestic dwellings in Midlothian. The supply of goods is to meet the needs of the applicants of the Scottish Welfare Community Care Grant. The requirements will be tendered in the following Lots: Lot 1: New Furniture Lot 2: Reuse Furniture The Contractor will have to ensure accessibility for all awarded applicants of the Scottish Welfare Community Care Grant to view the goods on offer. For example, physical and in-person viewing, digital and online viewing, etc. Tenderers are invited to submit a tender response for one or both lots. Lot 1: New Furniture This lot is for the supply, delivery, installation and disposal of new domestic furniture and furnishings to various types of domestic dwellings in Midlothian. The supply of goods is for the requirements under the Scottish Welfare Fund. All domestic style dwellings will be covered and any other premises that the Council deems appropriate for the provision of these goods. The Contractor will have to ensure accessibility for all awarded applicants of the Scottish Welfare Community Care Grant to view the goods on offer. For example, physical and in-person viewing, digital and online viewing, etc. The Contractor will be required to ensure sufficient quality of goods supplied (and related services delivered). Lot 2: Reuse Furniture This lot is for the supply, delivery, installation and disposal of reuse domestic furniture and furnishings to various types of dwellings in Midlothian. The supply of goods is for the requirements under the Scottish Welfare Fund. All domestic dwellings will be covered and any other premises that the Council deems appropriate for the provision of these goods. The Contractor will have to ensure accessibility for all awarded applicants of the Scottish Welfare Community Care Grant to view the goods on offer. For example, physical and in-person viewing, digital and online viewing, etc. The Contractor will be required to ensure sufficient quality and safety of goods supplied (and related services delivered).
