About the buyer
Jisc provides digital, data and network services to UK higher and further education, and buys as a central body with its own commercial team. Frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems cover network equipment, cloud services and research systems. Member universities and colleges call off these agreements directly, without running their own tender. Regional partners including SUPC, APUC and HEPCW extend this buying power across the sector.
A procurement pipeline lists larger contracts expected over the next five years.
Over the past 5 years, most of Jisc's contract awards have been in education and training, IT services and software and information systems.
