MongoDB Atlas, its managed cloud service. It is a source-available, cross-platform, document-oriented database program. The Aula team uses this to store and organise all records in a centralised database. Every interaction or action performed on the platform is captured in MongoDB, which stores data as flexible JSON-like documents rather than rigid tables. Aula leverages the Organization and Project hierarchy by maintaining a single organization account named "Aula" with separate projects for each institute (such as Coventry, UWS, and others).
