About the buyer

Riverside is a Liverpool-based housing association with a Group Procurement department. Lower-value orders are bought on written quotes from approved suppliers, and formal tenders are required for larger contracts. Every supplier must report on and improve its sustainability performance throughout each contract term.

All approved contractors must hold SSIP accreditation through Alcumus SafeContractor.

Over the past 5 years, most of Riverside's contract awards have been in construction work, architectural and engineering services and IT services.
