Tender description
The Ordnance Corps has a requirement to recruit and train personnel for the role of Armourer and Armament Artificer Instrumentation (AAI) annually. These technical skillsets are essential to the Ordnance Corps' responsibility to inspect and maintain Defence Forces weapon systems. Student Armourers and AAI's must complete a four (4) year Ordnance Trainee Technician Scheme (TTS). This scheme is run through the Ordnance School in the Defence Forces Training Centre (DFTC), Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare. The Ordnance Corps require a contracted service assistance to provide technical training support to the existing staff within the Ordnance School. This technical training support package will be required to integrate with existing school staff and work alongside these personnel providing technical training and support to the organisation.
