GB-Middlesbrough: Planning Consultancy Services for Land Disposal

Tender description

The University seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Planning Consultant to provide planning, land promotion and strategic advice to support the optimisation promotion, and sale of land off Lacy Road, Middlesbrough for residential development. The successful candidate will be required to advise on the most appropriate planning and disposal strategy for the site, including consideration of residential development opportunities and any alternative planning or land promotion approaches which may enhance value, marketability and deliverability. The objective of the appointment is to maximise land value, reduce planning and development risk, and facilitate a successful disposal of the site through a competitive process. The land is expected to have potential for residential development and may be marketed to residential developers, housebuilders, promoters or other appropriate parties, depending on the recommended disposal strategy arising from the consultant's advice. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
