North Lanarkshire Council (NLC) offers to the market a prime business development site at Westfield Pitches, Deerdykes Place, Cumbernauld. The site is approximately 3.3 Hectare (8.2 Acre) in size. Freehold offers invited. The opportunity is located within the established Westfield Industrial Estate, immediately adjacent to the M80 motorway. Major occupiers in the area include AG Barr, DPD, Optical Express, Scottish Water, Speedy Hire, and other established commercial businesses. Submission Requirements Please include the following information with your bid submission: -A clear statement of the sum offered for the property, together with any proposed contractual conditions and anticipated timescales. -Drawings of the proposed development, including site layout, access arrangements, and parking proposals. -A completed Application Form Tenure and VAT Offers are invited for the freehold interest in the property. North Lanarkshire Council intends to waive the VAT exemption on the property. Accordingly, VAT will be payable in addition to the purchase price. Submission of Bids The Council will only accept bid submissions submitted via the Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) portal. Bids received after the stated closing date and time will not be considered. Submissions sent by post, fax or email will not be accepted. Following the Closing Date Following selection of a preferred bidder, final authority to proceed with the proposal will be sought from North Lanarkshire Council's Finance & Resources Committee on 15 September 2027.
