Tender description

The supply, including delivery and installation of products approved for use in Public Water Supply in the United Kingdom which form part of an existing or modified granular media filtration process. <br/>Filtration media will include sand, gravel, GAC, reactivated GAC, anthracite, bonechar and Filtralite. Lot 1: The supply, including delivery and installation of products approved for use in Public Water Supply in the United Kingdom which form part of an existing or modified granular media filtration process. This may include but is not limited to;, <br/>• Filtration media including sand, gravel, GAC, reactivated GAC, anthracite, bone char and Filtralite.<br/>• The inspection (including CCTV), testing, condition reporting and commissioning of existing granular media filtration units.<br/>• The repair or replacement of defects to the internal structures, components or coatings of existing granular media filtration systems.<br/>• The design and installation of physical modifications to existing granular media filtration systems, which may include, filter floors, under drainage including Leopold (but not exclusive), filter vessels, tanks and wash units.<br/>• The removal of existing media and legislatively compliant off-site disposal.<br/>• Cleaning of granular media filtration equipment, filter structure and internals.<br/>• Replacement of filter vessels within existing treatment buildings.
