DESIGN & BUILD OF A NEW CORPORATE WEBSITE FOR THE CAMBRIDGESHIRE & PETERBOROUGH COMBINED AUTHORITY

Tender description

The Authority is looking to appoint a single supplier to design and build a new corporate website for the Authority. The Authority’s current website does not comply with the current accessibility requirements for public sector bodies. The Authority, like other Mayoral Authorities is currently going through an exciting period of change and transformation, which will see the Authority become much more customer focused. The new website will need to reflect this, with a greater emphasis on audiences, engagement and the user journey. Currently the Authority has several sub domains and other websites, examples include a Passenger Transport website, a Have Your Say Consultations site, the State of the Region Data Portal and the CPCA Growth Hub site. It is our intention to fold these into the main corporate website and remove the current duplication / confusion caused by multiple websites all owned by the Authority. Suppliers should be aware of plans to launch a Local Visitor Economy Partnership with an associated website presence; this will be a standalone site not covered by this commission and a Visitor Economy presence will be required on the website. The Authority’s site needs to reflect the core roles and responsibilities of the Authority, with a simple easy to navigate site map. It also needs to be an effective showcase, demonstrating the impact of the organisation and region’s economy unequivocally. ## Contract award
