About the buyer
Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUSMM) is a higher education institution formed in 2021 from Athlone and Limerick Institutes of Technology. Campuses sit in Limerick, Athlone, Thurles, Clonmel and Ennis. A Procurement and Contracts Office advises staff on tendering. TUSMM runs its own tender competitions through that office. Budget holders authorise each purchase before an order is placed. Frameworks from HEAnet can be drawn down.
Mini-competitions run through Office of Government Procurement frameworks.
Over the past 5 years, most of TUSMM's contract awards have been in industrial machinery, laboratory and precision equipment and software and information systems.
