About the buyer
The College of Policing is the professional body for policing in England and Wales, and buys as a central government body sponsored by the Home Office. A company limited by guarantee, the College's sole member is the Home Secretary. Home Office grant-in-aid funds most of its work. A dedicated procurement function oversees contracts to maximise value for money on emerging technology and services. Governance boards, including the Executive Committee and Portfolio Delivery Board, oversee major programmes and their delivery.
Over the past 5 years, most of The College of Policing's contract awards have been in research and development, software and information systems and business services.
