388_25 Batteries and Battery Chargers

A multiple supplier framework for the supply of batteries and battery chargers to the ESPO distribution centre. Lot 1 - Industrial Grade Alkaline Batteries Lot 2 - Retail Grade Batteries (Alkaline and Zinc) Lot 3 - Retail Grade Alkaline Batteries (Premium) Lot 4 - Retail Rechargeable Batteries and Chargers Lot 5 - Retail Coin Cell Batteries The framework agreement has the option to extend for up to a further 23 months. The total estimated value stated (which is captured here as a Value excluding VAT) includes the option period. This contract will contain a contract monitoring clause which will require suppliers to ensure that there is no material detrimental change in their financial standing and/or their credit rating (as determined by use of a Credit Reference Agency). Bi-annual review meetings will be held.
