About Gov Facility Services Limited
Gov Facility Services Limited is a government-owned, not-for-profit company delivering facility maintenance across prisons in the south of England. The Ministry of Justice created it in 2018 to take over prison maintenance work after Carillion's collapse. Around 1,000 staff transferred across from the previous contractor when the company began.
