Tender description
Expert support to the Contracting Authority (Client) in the implementation of the Second Climate Change Sectoral Adaptation Plan for Built and Archaeological Heritage, 2025 (hereafter referred to as BAH-SAP II), and the delivery of specific actions, as laid out in Appendix 1 of the Request for Tender document. For the purposes of this tender, built and archaeological heritage includes: - Archaeological monuments and sites; - Historic settlements and infrastructure; - Historic buildings and other structures; - Cultural landscapes; - Archaeological objects; - Contents and collections; - Underwater Cultural Heritage; BAH-SAP II sets out a five-year strategic vision for the built and archaeological heritage sector and includes a climate strategy and action plan aimed at building adaptive capacity in the sector; reducing its vulnerability to climate change and identifying cross-sectoral opportunities. BAH-SAP II identifies appropriate opportunities for the sector to contribute to climate change mitigation.
