Tender description
The LIFE on Machair Project seeks to procure the services of an experienced Coastal Ecologist to provide scientific and technical expertise in support of habitat restoration and conservation activities across project sites. The project focuses on the restoration, management and long-term conservation of dune and machair habitats within the LIFE on Machair project area, with ongoing monitoring and development of habitat restoration measures forming a key component of the work programme. The successful tenderer will provide specialist ecological advice and guidance to support the delivery of project objectives, particularly those relating to dune and machair habitats. Working closely with the Project Manager and project team, the appointed contractor will assist in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of habitat restoration measures and conservation actions.
