About the buyer
Aberystwyth University buys as an education organisation through a central procurement office on its Penglais Campus in Aberystwyth. Many higher education sector agreements are negotiated by lead consortia, including the Higher Education Purchasing Consortium Wales. Staff can reach those contracts through the HEContracts repository of central agreements. Single tender actions for larger purchases go to the university's Executive for consideration.
Over the past 5 years, most of Aberystwyth University's contract awards have been in construction work, electrical equipment and lighting, and business services.
