About the buyer

Kildare County Council is a local authority headquartered at Áras Chill Dara in Naas, where its procurement department is also based. Requests for tenders and quotations also run through SupplyGov, developed by the Local Government Operational Procurement Centre. The council uses many of the frameworks and contracts put in place by the Office of Government Procurement. Some tenders are supplementary competitions under frameworks or dynamic purchasing systems.

Over the past 5 years, most of Kildare County Council's contract awards have been in construction work, architectural and engineering services and waste, cleaning and environmental services.
