Tender description
The City of London Corporation (the ‘City’) is carrying out Preliminary Market Engagement (‘PME’) in relation to the provision of a contractor to upgrade the Middlesex Street Estate CCTV system by replacing defective and outdated cameras and installing new and additional units to provide reliable, fit-for-purpose surveillance coverage. The principal contractor will also be expected to provide the necessary input for the successful submission of a Gateway 2 application to the Building Safety Regulator, relating to the CCTV camera upgrade, which will form the Contractors Design Portion (CDP) of the contracted works. This exercise will help inform our approach to the procurement, provide an opportunity to gain insight into how participants might approach delivery of the works in question, and offer a useful early indication of the likely level of interest in the proposed project from the market. Please note that this is not a call for competition.
