Tender description
CPI is seeking to procure cell prototyping services to support the validation and performance evaluation of electrochemical energy storage materials. The scope of this procurement includes: - Electrode Manufacturing (mixing, coating, and calendering) - Cell Assembly (Coin, single/multilayer pouch and cylindrical formats) - Electrochemical Performance Testing (including formation, cycling, GITT, EIS, and HPPC) The successful service provider(s) will receive slurry formulation compositions and/or coated electrodes, cell specifications, and testing protocols from CPI. The scope includes transforming these into finished, test-ready cells, delivering the subsequent electrochemical performance data, and providing technical consultation regarding cell-level optimization. We require a provider capable of delivering high-quality, reproducible fabrication and testing services with the flexibility to handle various liquid-electrolyte cell chemistries, primarily Li-ion, and extensible to Na-ion systems. To ensure data replicability, the provider must adopt a transparent, 'open-book' approach to baseline material specifications including material source and composition information. Ancillary services, including the provision of regular data reports and the secure handling of sensitive material sets, are also in scope.
