Summary of the work: The Army is responsible for the delivery of high-profile parades that attract significant audiences and attention. These parades are ticketed and there is a requirement for a robust system to ensure the tickets are correctly allocated, tracked and the accounted for. Pricing model: Fixed price Provide further information: The King’s Birthday Parade (KBP) is the major annual State Ceremonial event in June each year for which tickets are allocated both to the Permanent Allocation List (PAL) and the public. On the two weekends prior to the KBP, full dress rehearsal parades are undertaken (Reviews) for which similar ticketing arrangements are made, these are known as the Colonel’s Review and the Major General’s Review. The seating capacity for all events is 6500. This parade and the Tickets are both significant State occasions that need to be successful to protect this high State occasion with the Integrity and display that it deserves. Confirm if you require a contracted out service or supply of resource: Contracted out service: the off-payroll rules do not apply Where you want the supplier to work: No specific location (for example they can work remotely) Latest start date: 2026-12-21 Expected contract length: 4-00-00 Expected contract structure: 4 Year Term Estimated contract value (excl VAT): 541700 Budget details: The cost of the provision for the KBP is expected to be no more than £333,400 for a four year contract. The cost of the provision to RMAS is expected to be no more than £208,300 for a four-year contract. Why the work is being done: The work must be done NLT 16 weeks prior to the Kings Birthday Parade 2027 to enable ticket sales to take place in Feb 2027. Problem to be solved: A large event ticketing solution in line with the Specification detailed requirements.
