Tender description

The University of Salford ("the University") is a leading provider of health and social care education in the North West of England. Provision is delivered through the School of Health Sciences and the School of Health & Society, supporting approximately 3,500 students per annum across a range of health and social care programmes, including Nursing, Midwifery, Diagnostic Radiography, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Prosthetics & Orthotics, Clinical Exercise Physiology and Nursing Associate programmes. The University is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified supplier, for the supply and fulfilment of student and staff uniforms. The requirement is for approximately 1,700 new students per annum, across three annual intakes in September, January and April. The successful supplier will be responsible for the establishment and operation of an online ordering portal, enabling students to select and order uniforms in accordance with the University's approved specifications and entitlements. The scope of the requirement includes the supply, fulfilment, delivery, returns and exchanges of uniforms. Orders will be delivered directly to students at their home addresses, with the supplier responsible for managing the associated delivery and returns arrangements. The supplier must also accommodate ad hoc student orders, including maternity garments, special measurements and replacement items, with appropriate arrangements for direct payment by students.
