Tender description

NHS Thames Valley ICB ("the Commissioner") is commissioning a Local CAS & ED Revalidation Service. Primary Care Clinical Assessment & ED Revalidation service for Frimley ICS patients in Bracknell, RBWM & Slough Places. The four main elements to the provision of the core services are: • Interoperability with 111 service provided by SCAS • Clinical input - diagnosis and treatment • Suitable accommodation for patients to be seen face-to-face • Transport - cars including drivers for home visiting The core service will integrate with the local 111 and other health and care services, observing the overriding principles of seamless transfer. The 111 provider is South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. "Integrated" in this context is defined as ensuring that the caller's journey through the urgent and emergency care system is supportive and seamless. Thames Valley ICB has followed PSR Direct Award C for the contract to which this notice relates. Thames Valley ICB has followed PSR Direct Award C for the contract to which this notice relates. The total expected value of the contract for the 12-month contract term is £1,177,401. The contract period will commence on 01 April 2027. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners. Additional information: Evidence that East Berkshire Primary Care have satisfied the existing contract to a sufficient standard according to the detail outlined in the contract: they provided all of the required documentation, information and policies for the existing contract. They have complied with/not fallen foul of the applicable NHS APMS Contract. The proposed contracting arrangements are substantially consistent with the existing arrangements, which the provider has delivered to a satisfactory standard. Accordingly, the Commissioner is satisfied that the provider is likely to continue delivering the services to the required standard under the proposed contract.
