Tender description
award of the non-contestable works to National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) may be made as a direct award under section 41(1) and Schedule 5, paragraph 6 of the Procurement Act 2023. NGED is the Distribution Network Operator for the relevant area and is stated to be the only supplier able to undertake the non-contestable network works.
