Stairway Infill Panels Survey, Fabrication and Installation Works - Soft Market Test

Charnwood Borough Council is seeking feedback from the market regarding proposed works to install metal mesh infill panels to existing balustrade and handrail systems across residential blocks within the borough. The proposed works cover 42 blocks of flats comprising: • 16 single-storey blocks • 23 two-storey blocks • 3 three-storey blocks The appointed contractor will be responsible for undertaking surveys, fabrication of infill panels, and installation of the completed solution. The Council wishes to understand supplier capacity, capability, market interest and any potential constraints before determining the most appropriate procurement route. This soft market testing exercise will also help inform the final specification and procurement strategy.
