Montrose Port intends to appoint a suitably experienced contractor for the design and construction of a new quay and associated hardstanding, utilities and dredging. Lot 1: Montrose Port Authority intends to appoint a suitably experienced and capable contractor for the design and construction of a new quay and associated hardstanding, utilities and dredging. The works will will comprise but will not necessarily be limited to. Design development and completion of the Contractors design obligations. Construction of new quay structure, Construction of new hardstanding areas. Installation of quay furniture and associated services. The Contractor will be responsible for the design and construction of the works in accordance with the Employers requirements, Scope, Site Information and other Contract Documents. Associated dredging works. The project is intended to be be procured as a design and build contract using the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC), Option A - Priced Contract with Activity Schedule.
