Tender description
This Basic Asset Protection Agreement (“BAPA”) is required to facilitate the design and construction of public-realm improvements within/adjacent to Highams Park Station car park, where the works may affect, interface with, or require access to Network Rail-owned and controlled railway assets, land and operational infrastructure. The BAPA will govern Network Rail’s asset-protection role, including review and acceptance of design information, technical assurance, approvals, site/access arrangements, safety and protection requirements, monitoring and any associated railway-interface activities. The agreement is necessary to ensure that the proposed works do not adversely affect the safe operation, maintenance, integrity or future use of the railway.
