Tender description

The project comprises the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new Goods/Passenger Lift installation, including all associated equipment, controls, interfaces and ancillary works necessary to provide a complete, safe and fully operational lift service. The lift installation shall be designed and delivered in accordance with all applicable statutory requirements, relevant British/European Standards and NHS requirements, including BS EN 81-20, BS EN 81-50, BS EN 81-73 and NHS HTM 08-02, as applicable to the project. The Contractor shall be responsible for delivering a complete and fully commissioned installation, including all necessary design development, surveys, coordination, builders' work requirements, electrical and control interfaces, testing, commissioning, certification, operation and maintenance information, training and handover documentation. The Plant shall be designed to achieve a minimum 25-year service life from Taking Over by the Purchaser, subject to the specified maintenance regime and normal operating conditions. requirements as far as practicable.
