Tender description
The London Borough of Hackney's Adult Social Care service is seeking an experienced provider to deliver an activity-based Occupational Therapy (OT) Assessment Service. Rising demand for home care, long-term support and complex needs has created a significant waiting list for OT assessments. The Council has a statutory duty under the Care Act 2014 to carry out timely assessments for residents who need care and support. This contract will provide additional external capacity to reduce the backlog and waiting times while the Council continues to build sustainable in-house capacity.
