Medway Council is seeking quotes from prospective suppliers for Gillingham Civic Square. Medway Council operates a fully electronic procurement process and requires all bidders refer to the most up to date documents located within the Kent Business Portal and direct any communications they may have through the same system to support the integrity and transparency of this activity. Gillingham Public Realm Improvements is the upgrading of an area of the High Street and part of Green Street and Sapper Walk ME7 1AU for Medway Council. The project will deliver an upgraded square with upgraded paving and new rain gardens to support sustainable drainage play. Works include upgraded surface finishes and edging, seating, lightning murals and a strengthened planting and tree strategy to improve shade, biodiversity and the overall setting. The contract is to be carried out using the JCT Design and Build Contract 2024 as issued by the Joint Contracts Tribunal incorporating the latest JCT published Amendments and other amendments as set out elsewhere in these Contract documents.
