National Grid has a requirement for the provision of Plant Hire services to support operational, capital delivery, maintenance, emergency response and infrastructure activities across the UK. The requirement encompasses the supply, delivery, collection, maintenance and support of a wide range of plant and equipment, together with associated services. National Grid's objectives are to secure a safe, compliant, responsive and cost-effective Plant Hire solution that supports business operations while delivering value, sustainability benefits and continuous improvement throughout the contract term. The scope is expected to include the following service categories: Cranes and lifting solutions Powered access equipment General plant and equipment The requirement is primarily for the provision of plant and equipment hire services without operators across Cranes, Powered Access and General Plant categories.
