LOT 01 Fylde Borough Council Food Caddies Detailed Specification 1. Caddies and Distribution Specification • Quantities: 46,000 external caddies and 46,000 internal caddies • Sizes: 5L internal kitchen caddy, 23L external kerbside caddy • Materials: Solid-walled plastic, minimum 40% post-consumer recycled content. • Features: • all caddies to come with lids attached, distributed together with rolls of caddy liners and information pack as part of a complete 'resident package' • Address lists for each phase of distribution to be supplied by Fylde Council • Stackable design • Resistant to detergents and biological matter • Thermal transfer printing with Fylde Council logo • Expected lifespan: 5+ years • 100% recyclable at end of life • Delivery: • Delivery to Fylde Council as soon as possible from purchase ordering date • Delivered to specified council holding location(s) preferably on tail-lift vehicle. • Delivery on pallets with containers stacked evenly and shrink-wrapped for outdoor storage 2.
