ICT Network Contractor for Argyll and Bute Council

Tender description

Argyll and Bute Council have historically engaged a network contractor to carry out various network connection works in schools and office buildings across Argyll and Bute (mainland and islands). Lot 1: Scope of Services We require a single network contractor to be available to undertake various network installation services across Argyll and Bute Council buildings. Services required to be undertaken include, but are not limited to: - Installation, termination, testing and labelling of single / dual data-outlets; - Test and repair of existing network cabling / data-outlets and reinstatement of affected device to network; - Installation of council-supplied preconfigured Wireless Access Point(s); - Installation of any external network cabling, including ducting and overhead cable work for both fibre (pre-terminated) and copper cabling pairs; - Installation of Council-supplied preconfigured external Wi-Fi bridging devices and confirmation of site-to-site connectivity. - Repair of any external network cabling including ducting and overhead work for both fibre and copper cabling.
