Tender description

Under this procurement, EDC (the Employer) is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified contractor (the Contractor) to provide electrical installation condition reports (LOT 1) and electrical rewires (LOT 2) to domestic dwellings owned by the Employer within the boundaries of the local government area of East Dunbartonshire, if (and when) required by the Employer, under the SBCC Measured Term Contract for use in Scotland MTC/Scot 2019 Ed (the Contract). Lot 1: Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) The types of work for which Orders may be issued under LOT 1 of the Contract comprises (i) the carrying out and completion of Electrical Installation Condition Report (hereinafter abbreviated to “EICR”), with a requirement to rectify and remedy C1 and C2 codes at the time of the survey and present a “satisfactory” EICR certificate for each domestic dwelling, and (ii) the provision of all necessary resources for all such purposes, including, without limitation, all necessary management, staff, supervision, labour, equipment, plant, fabrication, materials, goods, off-loading and distribution, setting out, testing, and commissioning.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016. Lot 2: Occupied Electrical Rewires The types of work for which Orders may be issued under LOT 2 of the Contract comprises (i) the carrying out and completion of electrical refurbishment work, including full rewires, and (ii) the provision of all necessary resources for all such purposes, including, without limitation, all necessary management, staff, supervision, labour, equipment, plant, fabrication, materials, goods, off-loading and distribution, setting out, testing, and commissioning.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
