C1219 – Invitation to Tender for a Mechanical and Electrical Contractor – Life Safety Systems Upgrade, associated rewiring, including sub-boards replacement as required

Mechanical and Electrical Contractor required for: Life Safety Systems Upgrade and associated required wiring works including sub-boards replacement as required - Tipperary FET College, Templemore Campus, Richmond, Templemore, Co. Tipperary. E41 FF98. Please refer to tender documentation attached for full list of requirements for this project. 1. Provide for the installation of a new Fire Alarm system in compliance with IS3218:2024 latest Edition, this will require a new addressable fire alarm system to the complete building and associated out-buildings located adjacent the existing main building. 2. Provide for the installation of a new main electrical board in compliance with Irish standard I.S. 10101:2020+AC1:2020 (latest edition), incoming ESB supply, provision for connecting in existing boards and only where necessary, replacement of existing sub boards. The client has applied to ESB networks for an increase in the MIC for the building to 120kva which has been approved and completion of same is being escalated by the client in tandem with commencement of electrical works by the successful Mechanical and Electrical Contractor.
