Provision of Forensic, Archaeological and Support Services for the Office of the Director of Authorised Intervention, Tuam (ODAIT)

Tender description

The Office of the Director of Authorised Intervention, Tuam (ODAIT), acting as Contracting Authority, is conducting this Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) to assess market capability and capacity, inform procurement strategy and packaging of services and identify suitably qualified and experienced service providers. This notice is not a call for competition. It is an information-gathering exercise only. ODAIT is considering the procurement of professional services to support archaeological excavation (single context method), forensic recovery under controlled conditions and analysis of human remains in accordance with the Institutional Burials Act 2022, international best practice and forensic standards. Roles under consideration include Forensic Technicians, a team of 6 Archaeologists, a Forensic Pathologist, a Paediatric/Perinatal Clinician, a Post Excavation Manager, a Geomatics Supervisor and a Geomatics Technician.
