Coleg Sir Gâr invites proposals from suitably qualified contractors to construct a new accessible path constructed to meet DDA requirements at its Graig Campus in Llanelli, as outlined in this opportunity. An existing, paved pathway runs east along the front elevation of C Block but terminates abruptly at the building edge. To reach the rear of the building, users must traverse a combination of uneven ground including, grassed and paved areas. This route is uneven, inconsistent in finish, and does not comply with accessibility requirements under the Equality Act (DDA). As a result, staff, students, and visitors are currently experiencing difficulty accessing the area between the front and rear of C Block.
