South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust ("SWASFT") has awarded a framework for the provision of C1 Driver Training services for paramedics at all sites across the six (6) counties of the South West of England. C1 Ambulance driver training is required for paramedics because most ambulances fall under the C1 vehicle category, which refers to vehicles weighing between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes.
