This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The contract will be entered into by the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the successful Provider. The evaluation involved the Basic Selection Criteria which will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis. Quality was evaluated at 70% and price at 30%. Price submissions were also subject to maximum ceiling prices as detailed in the Instructions to Tenderers document. The contract term will be 2 years, with an extension period or periods for a maximum of 12 months at the sole discretion of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, creating a maximum contract term of 3 years. About the buyer

Royal Borough of Greenwich is a local authority covering southeast London, and runs its own tenders for goods and services. Suppliers register and bid for opportunities through the council's Proactis Rego platform. Procurement methods vary by the type of product or service and its value. Larger contracts are advertised nationally through the government's Find a Tender service. The council also runs multi-year frameworks for regeneration and construction work. Purchasing decisions follow procurement rules drawn from European directives, UK legislation and council policy. Bidders with recognised quality management accreditation, such as ISO 9000, are given preference.

UK local government drives £140bn in annual procurement, led by social protection (£66.6bn) and education (£57.1bn).

Over the past 5 years, most of Royal Borough of Greenwich's contract awards have been in health and social work, architectural and engineering services and construction work.
