Tender description
The overall vision for this work is to equip Agency colleagues with the information and knowledge to make a credible disclosure within the strategy pillar of TCFD. The following objectives have been defined for this project: • Identify scenarios, and pathways within those scenarios, that enable meaningful and credible assessment of climate related risk and resilience over the short, medium and long-term • Assist with the identification and refinement of climate risks and opportunities that could materially affect strategy and financial position, ensuring alignment with the agency’s existing corporate risk reporting mechanisms and the Treasury TCFD requirements • Advise on the high-level impacts on strategy and financial position and planning for each scenario. • Work with agency colleagues to identify factors and controls that the agency has in place that enable or detract from resilience or opportunity maximisation • Advise on the further steps needed to fully quantify financial risk

About the buyer
Homes England is the government's housing and regeneration agency, and buys as a non-departmental public body. Grant funding supports affordable housing development and land regeneration across England outside London. The Greater London Authority leads delivery within the capital too. Smaller opportunities are advertised on Contracts Finder, with larger contracts listed through Find a Tender. A quarterly pipeline lists larger procurements planned for the next 18 months. Professional services frameworks cover construction, technical and development work for local authorities and registered providers. Procurement decisions sit with regional teams, supported by a corporate procurement office.
Procurement spend from central entities makes up 66% of overall UK public spend.
Over the past 5 years, most of Homes England's contract awards have been in architectural and engineering services, business services and real estate services.
