Tender description
The London Hate Crime Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG) is the primary forum that enables the voice of communities targeted by hate crime to be heard by those criminal justice agencies responsible for providing the right response. The SRG hosts meetings four times a year comprising community and statutory partners where specific themes are discussed. The contract will start in January 2026 for an initial term of two years (annual value of £30,000, totalling £60,000 over the initial period). There will be one option to extend for a further two years ( £60,000 if extension is exercised). An additional £30,000 has been provisionally allocated to allow for potential future variations to the contract, such as changes in scope or service requirements and pricing flexibility, subject to appropriate governance. The maximum potential contract value is therefore £150,000. ## Contract award

About the buyer
Mayors Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) oversees policing and crime reduction across London from its base at City Hall, and buys as a police body with its own procurement team. Framework agreements, including a Building Works Framework renewed for 2025/26, cover recurring construction contracts. MOPAC commissions frontline services addressing violence against women, gangs and domestic abuse. Procurement and grant-making decisions follow public sector regulations to keep the process fair, transparent and accessible.
Over the past 5 years, most of MOPAC's contract awards have been in IT services, health and social work and research and development.
