Bandon Grass Cutting Contract 2026

About the buyer

Cork County Council is the local authority for County Cork, buying under a Corporate Procurement Policy last updated in 2020. Suppliers can find and bid for opportunities through eTenders, the national procurement platform used across the Irish public sector. Tender competitions weigh cost at no less than 30% of the marks available, under council procurement rules. Quarterly reports list the purchase orders the council places above a set spending threshold. Each year the council reviews its own purchasing under Ireland's Public Spending Code. A statutory audit report on council spending goes to its elected members annually.

€29.5bn was the estimated value of contracts awarded across the Irish public sector in 2025.

Over the past 5 years, most of Cork County Council's contract awards have been in construction work, construction materials and architectural and engineering services.
