About the buyer

Nuclear Restoration Services Limited decommissions 14 former nuclear sites, from Sizewell A to Trawsfynydd. The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority owns the company and sets its group-wide commercial strategy. New tenders above the routine threshold are advertised on the Find a Tender service. The company also runs its own framework agreements, covering scaffolding, lifting and characterisation services at its sites. Bidders for classified decommissioning work must also pass security clearance checks. A dedicated supply chain team handles questions and comments from prospective suppliers.

£434bn was the total UK public sector procurement spend in FY 2025/26.

Over the past 5 years, most of Nuclear Restoration Services Limited's contract awards have been in architectural and engineering services, construction work and business services.
