About the buyer
The Bank of England is the UK's central bank, and it buys as a Sub-Central Contracting Authority under the Procurement Act 2023. The Bank's Commercial Division runs the tendering process and scores bids against published selection criteria. An evaluation panel made up of Bank officers then assesses full tender submissions against the stated award criteria.
Over the past 5 years, most of Bank of England's contract awards have been in IT services, software and information systems and business services.
