SKDC-1252 Further Competition under EEM Framework - Development and Construction Westworks DPS for Design and New Builds at Larch Close, Grantham for South Kesteven District Council

Tender description

The contract is for the supply of works in respect of design and build of 21 new builds at Larch Close, Grantham. The works comprise of the construction of 21Nr new build dwellings on an open grassed area accessed from Larch Close, Grantham, NG31 7XL. The site is situated on the edge of a residential estate, to the north and east, with industrial units to the south and the A1 dual-carriageway to the west. The proposed properties comprise two storey houses, one two storey apartment block and one three storey apartment block. The mix of properties on the development comprises of:- • 13Nr 1 bed 2 person apartments • 6Nr 2 bed 4 person houses • 2Nr 4 bed 7 person houses The development will include all associated car parking, highway improvement works, amenity spaces, landscaping and infrastructure, drainage, services, etc all to provide a completed development. The Council proposes to enter into one contract with a single supplier for a period of 18 months with no further options of extension. The budget for this contract is approximately £4.5 million pounds (exclusive of VAT).
