About the buyer

The Environment Agency is an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by Defra, and buys as a central agency for flood risk, water quality and pollution control. Flood and coastal risk schemes are delivered mainly through the Collaborative Delivery Framework, alongside frameworks for mapping, modelling and property flood resilience. These frameworks run through a central contract management system. Commercial oversight sits with Defra Group Commercial, alongside the Environment Agency's own project teams.
