About the buyer

Home Office is a central ministerial department, and it buys through its own commercial and procurement function. Border Force, UK Visas and Immigration and HM Passport Office sit within the department. Security-sector contracts run through the Joint Security and Resilience Centre, a dedicated procurement route for that work.

Over the past 5 years, most of Home Office's contract awards have been in IT services, business services and software and information systems.
