Tender description
Wyre Forest District Council, along with Bromsgrove District and Redditch Borough Council would like to notify you of an upcoming requirement, and by doing are keen to understand where the market stands in terms of our requirement below. The Environment Act 2021 has introduced the requirement for a compulsory Food Waste Collection Service. From 1st April 2026, the Councils will be required to offer a household Food Waste collection service to all of its residents, free at the point of use and collected kerbside. The Council wishes to engage with the market options with the market to deliver the service. If you are unable to submit your RFI via the portal please send via a message in the portal and email to Wyre Forest Procurement - WyreForest.Procurement@wyreforestdc.gov.uk WFDC will acknowledge receipt of the RFI via an email to your identified main contact.
