Tender description
Yorwaste Ltd seeks to procure bulk haulage services to support the transportation of waste and associated materials across its operational network. The contract will cover the collection, transportation, and delivery/disposal of bulk materials, ensuring a safe, compliant, efficient and flexible service. The contract will be divided into geographically defined lots aligned to current operating areas: Lot 1: Whitby / Seamer Carr Lot 2: Kirby Lot 3: Halton Suppliers may bid for one, multiple, or all lots. Each lot will be evaluated individually and a winner selected based on the most advantageous offer proposed per area. The current contract expires on 31 March 2027, and this procurement is being undertaken in advance to ensure continuity of service and avoid mobilisation risks experienced in previous contract renewals. The Authority intends to award a contract for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years and 1 year (2+2+1).
