About the buyer

Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust delivers mental health, learning disability and community health services as an NHS trust. Local commissioners across Cheshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester fund most of its contracts. Tenders are published through Atamis, the NHS's single eCommercial system. Suppliers can also search Contracts Finder and the Find a Tender Service. Much of its non-clinical spend runs through NHS Supply Chain and framework agreements. The Trust operates over 60 sites across Cheshire, Wirral and the wider North West.

UK health spending has nearly quadrupled to £241.8bn in 2024/25, £20bn up on the year before. £140.6bn of that went to procurement, the biggest sector of UK public spending and the fastest-growing.

Over the past 5 years, most of Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's contract awards have been in health and social work, construction work and electrical equipment and lighting.
