Tender description
ICT Services have a requirement for the continuation of a Managed Security Operations Service which gives the Council 24/7 monitoring ensuring any potential cyber threats are identified and mitigated quickly, minimising potential damage and downtime by ensuring the Council can intervene at the earliest opportunity. Lot 1: A negotiated procedure was carried out under Regulation 6 of the Public Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016 which states: 6.—(1) A contracting authority may award a public contract without seeking offers in relation to the proposed contract— (b)where the works, supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for any of the following reasons— (ii)competition is absent for technical reasons; but only, in the case of paragraphs (ii) and (iii), where no reasonable alternative or substitute exists and the absence of
